In this fun, interactive class, you’ll learn basic Spanish, understand the eight ways it differs from English, and start reading, writing, listening, and speaking on Day #1. Subject matter will be tailored to your interests and goals. Having a dinnertime class on “Taco Tuesdays” means you’re encouraged to bring one! Class meets for 4 weeks, April 1, 8, 15, and 29, with April 22 off for spring break. Bring your pen & paper or digital note-taking materials.

Aloha! Are you interested in Hawaiian Hula dancing? Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the basics of Hawaiian Hula. Learn about the Hawaiian culture and learn simple choreography to Hawaiian songs. Hula is a great way to connect with Hawai'i, and learn the language, history and culture. Come experience the beauty of Hawaiian Hula dance and experience the Aloha spirit of Hawai'i. All are welcomed! Wear loose clothing and bring a pen and paper for note-taking.
MSAD 61 Substitute Teacher Training
with MSAD 61 Staff

In this one-hour training, MSAD 61 staff will review the requirements for becoming a substitute teacher in MSAD 61 and how to get on the substitute list; professional expectations and best practices for substitute teachers; what to expect at the various schools in the district; and some district policy and legal information. Participants who complete this training are eligible to receive an additional $10 per day in substitute pay, and this includes current substitutes!
