Life in Pieces

with Patty Sawyer

Calendar Jan 30, 2020 at 10 am

Cutting fabric into pieces and putting it back together again is what quilters do best.  Learning to read and blend fabric pattern and colors into beautiful landscapes is just like doing a puzzle.  This popular class utilizes fused techniques to complete your own original 5 X 7 framed mini wooded landscape from the tiniest scraps.

You need to bring:

*Large Tweezers – not necessary but will make your experience much more enjoyable.

*Small rotary mat and small rotary cutter (28mm is functional)

*Small paint brushes for detail painting 10/0 and 1/8 angular

*Liquid Stitch or glue stick

*Black Ultra-fine Sharpie marker

*Note:  Do not feel you have to buy these if you don’t have them—what you have will be fine and I have extras we can share.  The tweezers are the most important to make it easier for you. There will be an ironing station set up.

5X7 picture frame or frame and mat with a 5x7 opening
