If you've always wanted to learn watercolor painting in a relaxed, no-critique environment, this is the perfect class! Throughout four sessions you will learn some foundational skills and a variety of techniques, painting a simple landscape, birds and a floral. A suggested materials list will be available at the first class. Please bring whatever materials you have. Lab fee: $10 for supplies to be paid directly to the instructor at first class.

Tia will help you design your enrichment course or workshop, specific to your favorite hobby or professional topic. Together we will create your course title, course description, and lesson plan. We'll go over teaching tips, engaging your audience, price points, and whether your course should be a one-off or sequence. Share your passion with the community! You may find yourself proposing a course with Lake Region and Fryeburg Area Adult Education for the next or a future semester!
Beginners Earring Making Workshop

Welcome to the fun and creative world of beginner earring making! In this class, you will learn the basics of creating your own unique earrings from scratch. No prior experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new! You'll be introduced to various earring making tools, techniques, and materials while learning how to design and assemble your very own dangles. By the end of class, you will have a collection of handmade earrings to show off or gift to friends and family. Unleash your inner jewelry designer and add a personal touch to your accessories! You'll pick from a variety of beads, allowing for complete customization. You'll leave with a tools and materials list including where to buy, and of course, your earrings! What to expect: Each participant will create 2-3 pairs of dangles. All materials and supplies will be provided: supplies & materials fee: $20 to be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
Sebago Lake State Park Forest Trails Walk

Join Tia for an hour or so on an easy-rated hike along several trails within Sebago Lake State Park. We'll explore trailside through the forest, around an active beaver pond and visit the Songo river, sharing sightings, stories and questions. Meet at the "Sebago Lake State Park Campground" entrance parking lot on State Camping Road just off of State Park Road. Rain or shine. Wear hiking shoes and as desired bring a water bottle, cameras, binoculars, field guides, a hat, and rain gear.
Dough Bowl Candles & Glass Lanterns

Join Jenn from Candlewood for a fun and creative evening making two crafts! We will use dried flowers and nature debris to create stunning, decorative pieces that add a touch of nature to your home and make the perfect gift. You will learn to craft beautiful, aromatic candles using delicately dried flowers, soothing scents, and natural ingredients to make unique and charming dough bowls. You will also learn the art of Decoupage, transforming a simple glass jar into a stunningly adorned and scented lantern. Students will take home both beautiful and functional pieces.
