Restorative Yoga
with Linda Hamilton
We will begin with some stretches and gentle movements to prepare, then we will do some reclined or seated poses. Using props like bolsters, blocks and blankets to support us, we will relax into each pose for 3-5 minutes where we will find a wonderful stillness in the body and mind. This activates the relaxation response in the nervous system. It restores the body’s immune system and has many other benefits. Please bring a yoga mat and any props you might have such as blocks, bolsters, blankets or towels. VOC Center / Great Room

Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) Recertification
with Susan Robbins R.N.
The recertification course is a competency-based program, which assumes you know all about giving medications. The purpose of this course is to test your ability to give medications to clients. Therefore, there is more testing and less review. A study guide will be provided to you for your review before the course. During the 8-hour course you will required to do the following: transcribe medication orders to the MAR without error, administer medications to a classmate without error, take vital signs (B/P, T, P, R and Apical Pulse), answer some oral questions, and complete a State prepared test. The score for successful completion of the recertification test is 80%. All students must provide a copy of their current CRMA certification to enable them to take the course.
