Calendar Oct 10, 2017 at 4 pm, runs for 5 weeks

This course follows the CRMA standardized design as provided by the State of Maine, Division of Licensing & Regulatory Services, and Community Service Programs. The curriculum requires 35 - 40 hours of classroom time as well as a clinical component under the supervision of an R.N. instructor. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will obtain a certificate from the State of Maine and be certified to provide medication administration in the residential setting. Re-certification is required every 2 years. The registration fee includes all training materials. Class size is limited.

This class runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays with some Wednesday classes.

We are partnering with our local businesses and other agencies to offer a unique Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program beginning in September, 2017. This CNA program will prepare you with the skills to become certified and trained as a CNA in the State of Maine. The course will also give you the opportunity to earn a WorkReady Credential, recognized by our State and many local employers. Successfully completing the WorkReady program requirements shows employers you possess the work readiness skills they value. You will have TWO credentials when you complete the program!

We have developed a short, 3-hour workshop designed to help your front-line employees understand the importance of developing good customer service strategies. The first part of the session we’ll help participants build on your in-house training by bringing the expertise of an experienced manager’s perspective to the workshop. The session will include:

Dealing with the difficult customer in a tourist-based economy

Learning good communication skills that translate to happy guests, good co-worker relationships, and increased productivity

Benefit from some ‘outside’ training with a workshop that supports your business’s mission.

Orient your employees with local information and resources to provide area guests
